Speech-Language Pathology + Support Services

Fees, Terms and Conditions as of 1 March 2025

We employ the latest evidence-based therapies to support our therapy clients and their families as they build their skills and confidence in speech, language, literacy, and learning.

1. Services
Assessment services: a comprehensive, standardised assessment are aimed at identifying individual academic strengths and areas of challenge. Fees are based on the time taken to complete face to face assessment, any additional surveys, scoring and comprehensive report writing. An estimate of the cost associated with the report will be provided to you prior to the assessment sessions. A detailed report with recommendations for intervention at home and school will be provided after the assessment. Assessment, scoring, and report writing fees apply.

Support services (12-week weekly program): This 12-week program includes an assessment with a Speech-Language Pathologist via telehealth and an in-person Speech Pathology Aide, followed by weekly therapy sessions with a trained Speech Pathology Aide, directly supervised by the Speech-Language Pathologist. Every third therapy session will be joined by the Speech-Language Pathologist to monitor progress. This structure addresses limited Speech-Language Pathologist availability while reducing costs, enabling clients to access more therapy time. Assessments are scheduled based on the Speech-Language Pathologist’s and family’s availability, while therapy sessions occur with the Speech Pathology Aide at the same day and time each week unless a make-up session is arranged. A 12-week block subscription fee applies.

Support services (single session): A session with a Speech-Language Pathologist via telehealth and an in-person Speech Pathology Aide for assessment; or a Speech Pathology Aide for therapy as scheduled. This structure addresses limited Speech-Language Pathologist availability while reducing costs, enabling clients to access more therapy time. Every fourth therapy session will be joined by the Speech-Language Pathologist to monitor progress. Single-session fees apply.

Location: therapy support sessions are delivered at the therapy client's home, daycare, kindergarten, school or other suitable location as agreed. Travel fees apply.

2. Service Fees
We carefully consider our fees compared to those charged by similar practices, in the industry, to ensure the ongoing delivery of best practice intervention and the value that we provide our therapy clients and their families. Services will remain competitively priced with the following to apply from 1 March 2025 - 30 June 2025:

3. Cancellation Policy
Each session is extensively prepared in advance, and the reserved time is set aside just for the client. To ensure fair scheduling for all, cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at the full rate.

4. Injuries & Sickness
If a 12-week weekly therapy client is sick or injured for 3, or more, consecutive weeks then a 50% credit adjustment for the sessions missed will apply. The Speech-Language Pathologist will retain the remaining 50% of the fee to hold the applicable therapy session time slots until the therapy client is able to return to regular sessions.

If a 12-week weekly therapy client is planning a holiday for 3, or more, consecutive weeks, and the Speech-Language Pathologist is notified in writing before the beginning of the 12-week block, then a 50% credit adjustment for the sessions missed will apply. The Speech-Language Pathologist will retain the remaining 50% of the fee to hold the applicable session slots until the therapy client is able to return to regular sessions.

If the Speech-Language Pathologist is sick, injured or away on holidays then we will arrange an alternate Speech-Language Pathologist. If an alternate Speech-Language Pathologist is unavailable, then a make-up session can be scheduled with the Speech-Language Pathologist, or a 100% credit adjustment for the session(s) missed can apply. No refunds will be available.

5. Payment Terms
Invoices are due within 48 hours of being issued, allowing ample time for NDIS claims to be processed.

6. Available Rebates and Funding Programs: Private Health Funds and Medicare
Private Health Insurance rebates are available for services provided by our Speech-Language Pathologists. Consult your health fund to obtain details on the rebate amount for speech pathology consultations and the maximum amount you can claim per person or family in a calendar year.
