About Pauliné

Hi, I’m Pauliné, a fully qualified Speech Pathologist in Australia. Supporting adults in achieving greater independence and communication is not just my profession but one of the most rewarding aspects of my life. I am fluent in both Chinese and English and work alongside dedicated Speech Pathology Aides who speak Mandarin, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Korean, and Cambodian, enabling us to provide culturally and linguistically inclusive care.

My journey into speech pathology began with my own daughter. Watching her grow from a curious one-year-old into a confident, social butterfly by the age of four inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology. The joy of seeing her find her voice and connect with the world profoundly shaped my belief in the transformative power of communication.

Now, it is my privilege to help others experience similar growth. Whether supporting someone to regain their ability to eat safely or helping them communicate more effectively, I am continually inspired by the smiles and confidence that emerge along the way. To me, communication and safe swallowing are cornerstones of being part of a community, and helping people reclaim these abilities brings immense meaning and joy to my work.

Problem Solving

Problem-solving is at the heart of my approach to adult speech pathology. Every client faces unique challenges, whether it's regaining clear communication, rebuilding swallowing function, or adapting to changes brought on by a condition or injury. I take the time to understand each individual's needs and goals, using evidence-based strategies to develop practical, personalised solutions. From exploring assistive technologies to modifying daily routines, my aim is to create meaningful, achievable outcomes that empower clients to regain independence and improve their quality of life. For me, the most rewarding part of problem-solving is seeing the confidence and joy that come with progress.

Spark Within

As a speech pathologist, I find immense fulfilment in uncovering the unique spark within every adult I work with. Communication and swallowing are deeply connected to our identity and quality of life, and my goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to rediscover these vital abilities. Whether it’s helping someone find their voice again or regain the ability to eat and drink safely, I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and aspirations. For me, the true reward lies in seeing that spark of confidence and independence grow as clients reconnect with the world around them, making meaningful progress in their daily lives.
